The Porch Life

Last Fall I moved to a new home and I am spending my first summer here. Mostly on my Porch……. I always wanted a porch like this one. I sit here with my friends and family. I watch the world go by, wave hello to the occasional neighbor walking their dog, or kids bicycling but mostly I look at nature. Somehow I feel I am channeling Andy Rooney at this moment but you get the picture. I remember growing up and living in Queens NY. I used to sit on the stoop. That was cool at the time but this is more my speed and style. When I sit on my porch I reflect, listen to inspiring music and wisdom, write sometimes and most of all I allow myself some SPACE.
